Veronica Leos Barron

Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist

Ever feel like you’re running in place—like no matter how much effort you put in, things just don’t seem to change? Maybe you're weighed down by stress, doubt, or the feeling that you should have it all figured out by now. If you’re looking for a way forward, I’m here to help you clear the path and start moving toward the life you actually want.

Less Overthinking, More Doing
I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist-Associate, and my approach to therapy is all about breaking out of unhelpful patterns and building practical, real-world strategies that make a difference in your daily life. I specialize in working with people who feel stuck—whether in their thoughts, their relationships, or their personal goals—and helping them take steps that actually feel doable.

Using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Therapy, I guide clients toward clarity, confidence, and the ability to handle life’s challenges without feeling completely overwhelmed. My goal isn’t just to help you process emotions—it’s to help you create a game plan that puts you back in control.

Your Goals, Your Timeline, Your Life
I believe therapy should be practical, supportive, and tailored to you. Maybe you’re struggling with anxiety, questioning your next steps, or feeling like you’re constantly making decisions out of fear instead of confidence. Maybe you’ve convinced yourself that what you’re feeling now is permanent. I’m here to remind you that it’s not. Things can change—and we’ll figure out exactly how together.

I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice with a minor in Psychology and Spanish from Sam Houston State University before completing my Master’s in Psychology with a specialization in Marriage and Family Therapy at Our Lady of the Lake University in Houston. Through my work, I’ve helped people reframe the way they see themselves, their struggles, and their ability to make real changes.

A Therapist Who's Also a Human
Outside of therapy, you’ll find me cheering loudly at halftime shows as a proud band mom, planning family road trips, and fully committing to the belief that the book is always better than the movie. I love music, movies, and the moments that make life fun—because mental health isn’t just about managing stress, it’s also about making space for joy.

This Is Your Moment—Let’s Get Started
If you’re ready to start making decisions with confidence instead of fear, I’m here to help. Therapy isn’t about fixing you—it’s about helping you step into the life you’ve been working toward all along.
