Ciatta Spears
Veteran Trauma Therapist
Ciatta Spears is a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate in the state of Texas. She is a southern California native whose military service led her to San Antonio. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from the University of Maryland Global Campus. After proudly completing 10 years of active duty service in the United States Navy and working with people from around the world, she decided to continue her service of helping others within her community.
Ciatta graduated with her Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Texas at San Antonio. She completed her internship at Family Violence Prevention Services where she developed her person centered, trauma informed perspective. Additionally, while working as the Clinical Therapist at Boys and Girls Club of San Antonio, she gained invaluable experience serving at risk youth and their families.
Ciatta is a passionate counselor who believes that her clients are the captains of their lives and that walking alongside them can help facilitate personal growth, self-empowerment, and healing at the roots. She focuses her practice on trauma, veterans, depression, anxiety, self-compassion, and relationships. She leads with a holistic approach, recognizing the many benefits of healthy mental, social, physical, and spiritual wellness.
She strives to create a safe, empathetic, and encouraging space where clients can find healing and seek solutions that will bring about the growth they desire in their lives. In her free time, she enjoys listening to audiobooks, traveling internationally, trying new restaurants, and spending quality time with her wonderful husband and fearless toddler.
